Roto your partner for professional solutions
Museum of South Bohemia in České Budějovice was made available to the public in 1903 in its monumental building with a historic Neo-Renaissance style. After a thorough renovation in the years 2012-2014, it presents not only many historical, archaeological, geological but also botanical and zoological collections as well as the museum library with historical books.
Project
Both modern workplaces and spacious exhibition halls combine the historical architecture with modern elements. Flat and steep roof constructions with straight and arched surfaces require tailor-made solutions. At the same time, furniture, ceiling and wall coverings as well as show cases and exhibits should be shown to their fullest advantage.
Solution
60 Designo R4 and R4 RotoTronic pivot roof windows create rooms full of light, even on high ceilings and roof pitches from 15° to 85°. Numerous pre-assembled elements of Roto roof windows and connection systems significantly contribute to saving installation time. Thanks to the electrical control function, even windows in inaccessible places can be easily opened and closed.
