Panasonic Aquarea units receive Passive House Component Certification

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has announced its highly efficient Aquarea All-in-One Compact and Bi-Bloc1 heat pumps, as well as its Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit, have all been certified as a Passive House Component by the respected Passive House Institute (PHI).

PHI is an independent research institute that has played a crucial role in the development of the Passive House concept, which is considered a building that is ‘truly energy efficient, comfortable, and affordable at the same time’. It is the only internationally recognised, performance-based energy standard in construction. Passive house (German: Passivhaus) is a voluntary standard for energy efficiency in a building, which reduces the building's ecological footprint. It results in ultra-low energy buildings that require little energy for space heating or cooling.

The air-to-water heat pump units and ventilation unit from Panasonic have been certified thanks to its high-performance capabilities, exceptional comfort, and low energy costs. The innovative Aquarea technology converts heat energy in the air into household warmth, reducing CO2 emissions and environmental impact compared to conventional boilers and electric heaters. Panasonic is one of the very few manufacturers to produce 3 kW heat pump models, which is what most Passive House buildings use as it allows for energy servings and high efficiency. 

Panasonic has long since been pioneers for creating energy efficient heating and cooling units, and one of its key motivators when developing latest innovations is its Environmental Vision 2050 to ensure a positive contribution to society by reducing the amount of energy used and utilising clean energy.

Pompele de caldura aer-apa Aquarea Split constau dintr-o unitate exterioara si interioara separata, cele doua unitati fiind conectate printr-o pereche de conducte cu un agent frigorific special. Pot fi instalate cu pana la 30-50 de conducte de circuit de racire, permit o functionare foarte eficienta si o instalare flexibila. In zona exterioara nu exista conducte de apa, deci nu exista riscul de inghet, chiar si atunci cand sistemul este inactiv. Sistemul split este disponibil cu doua tipuri de unitati interioare: All in One cu stocare apa calda si unitati de perete Bi-block. Operatiunile de instalare, punere in functiune, service si intretinere a circuitului frigorific pot fi efectuate numai de catre un specialist calificat si instruit in acest sens, in conformitate cu reglementarile privind gazele fluorate.
