At an altitude of 2 700 meters – sustainably and energy-efficiently
TROX ventilation units ensure good air quality at all times in the restaurant of the freshly renovated Dachstein Glacier Cable Car mountain station at an altitude of 2 700 meters – sustainably and energy-efficiently.
Under the motto “Energy Crystal,” the Dachstein mountain station has been completely renovated until spring 2024. The building has been clad with 338 photovoltaic modules covering an area of 633 m², enabling it to generate up to 80% of the required energy on its own.
The TROX ventilation units also contribute to achieving the mountain station’s climate goals through their energy efficiency.
The heart of the TROX system consists of two combined supply and exhaust units from the X-CUBE series, along with three zone units. Each unit delivers 13 900 m³ of supply air and 14 200 m³ of exhaust air per hour – and they are characterized by their highest resistance to extreme climatic conditions.
