Mountain architecture with Roto roof windows
“Villa Nova” hotel was created with a passion for highlander art and attention to detail. It is a place that captivates with its unique architecture, a combination of classical wood and modern concrete. Here, time runs at a much slower pace…
Perfectly illuminated attic surface
The hotel is located in Zakopane, 50 meters from the famous Krupowki, which are very popular among Polish and foreign tourists. The semi-detached building with a total area of 10.000 sqm, houses 30 fully equipped guest rooms. The interior of the building is a perfect combination of raw concrete, glass and timeless wood. The combination of these materials creates an original and unique atmosphere. The slanted rooms are fitted with Roto roof windows. As a consequence, guests in the attic can enjoy unlimited access to natural light.
“First, we chose a roof in charcoal grey. Then, it was time for the windows. We wanted them large, and to match our roofing... and that's what RotoQ roof windows are all about big, beautiful and in metallic anthracite.” Maciej Kasperczyk, Owner of the property.
Safety, energy efficiency and functionality
A warm room is a real haven for tourists returning from long mountain hikes. To meet their expectations, we used windows suitable for the local climate. Taking into account that snow falls in Zakopane an average of 115 days a year, the ideal solution are windows set deep in the roof, so that white powdery snow slides freely from the covering. RotoQ windows are also excellent protection against wind gusts and frequent rainfall. The large glass surfaces allow you to enjoy an unlimited view of the Tatra Mountains, and the ergonomic handle mounted in the upper part of the window ensures easy and convenient operation.
Quality at the highest level
The guest-house was designed with attention to every detail. The priority was to use the highest quality materials. RotoQ roof windows ideally blend in with this concept. Robust window profiles made of wood and covered by three protective layers, thermal insulation WD block made of strong polyethylene, solid hardware with nickel-zinc coating, means durability for years and premium quality.
“A great success”
The interior of the “Villa Nova” hotel is characterised by numerous elements in natural wood. These include stylish decorations, furniture, floor, stairs and windows. By highlighting these elements, the unique highlander atmosphere prevails in the hotel. Particularly noteworthy is the local dining room, where 10 roof windows were installed in the largest available size 134/160 cm. The unlimited view of the mountains makes the simple consumption of meals a special moment.
